After recovery, the series returned to production

Scenario

A retired CIA agent is haunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when an unknown man suddenly visits him after nearly three decades. Production was halted in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with and then treated for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Bridges called the return after a “long weekend.” in the podcast in July 2022. This show starts off very strong, with great action and a slowly unfolding backstory that will keep you very intrigued. Things don’t go so well after the fourth episode.

Lithgow and Bridges is excellent

“Showket” is something like a boat anchor that delivers each rope almost monotonously. None of the characters is particularly sympathetic. As the plot development and action slow down after a few episodes, they are replaced by a lot of awkward dialogue.

How many more bad copies will there be

It seems obvious that the screenwriters tried to recreate the style of “The Counselor”, the script written by Cormac McCarthy, but they did not succeed. The more literary style of “Counselor” confused many viewers. I will continue to observe, I hope the situation will improve.
