Scenario

It follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a TV documentary journalist whose work has been based on revealing the transgressions of long-respected institutions. Gary Oldman was originally rumored to be cast, but he was replaced by Kevin Kline. Complex drama, exploring human character, the emotional drive that presides very often above logic and reason. The director sometimes over-dramatizes some behaviors, exaggerating them on purpose, probably, to prove his point, that among the many shades of gray of what we call a human character, there are very simple drives and a lot of instinctive behavior that guides us. It seems that cats are there for balance and simplicity. But yes, you need some patience and you should wait for the last episodes to see that in fact the “book” is a work of fiction. But just like the people in the series were quick to judge Catherine, many viewers here were quick to point out “the plot holes” just after 2 episodes.
