Dahmer’s point of view
Scenario
An anthology series about high-profile crimes or murderers in public and infamy. Evan Peters [Jeffrey Dahmer] says that [creator] Ryan Murphy had one rule: Never say never. "As an audience, you don’t really sympathize with him.
You can’t really stand his situation
You know you’re looking from the outside.". Many episodes feature 3M Command(TM) tape in the kitchen of Jeffery Dahmer’s apartment, this one from 1991. In 1996, 3M launched the first wave of Command(TM) products.
Features: Jeremy Vine: Episode #5195 (2022)
Evan Peters seriously overdid his job here. His acting was top notch and everything from his outfit to his facial expressions to the last moment was perfect. Apart from him, the performances of the other characters (his father, mother, grandmother, Glenda Cleveland and the victims) were also excellent.
But overall it’s a must see
The writing and script were also decent, especially because they didn’t take too many creative liberties, keeping the story closer to the real events. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was the length. The pacing was a little slow, especially in the last few episodes, and I feel like it could have easily been packed into 8 episodes instead of 10.
Especially for those who are interested in crime thrillers
This is a realistic picture of one of the most notorious serial killers in our history, where those who were inclined were not romanticized, but challenged. That’s what makes it a bit unique and interesting to watch.
