I really, really enjoyed it

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. Having been disappointed with recent films like Siksa Kubur and Susanna, Sumala, executive produced by Luna Maya, was a breath of fresh air. I saw the trailer beforehand and really didn’t want to go see it.

Solid performance all around 👏

But my wife dragged me and I reluctantly obliged. Boy, did I have a good time. Full marks to all the performances and Maykala, the little girl, stole the show.

One final note, this movie just doesn’t have any artistic cinematic shots

While I would have liked to see more of Satan, she was the devil’s daughter by the way, I suspect some scenes were left out to keep the runtime short. I’m a fan of slasher gore movies like Friday the 13th and Elm Street and this movie lived up to my expectations. So kudos to the director 👏 and the producers, I really enjoyed this one.

like establishing shots of drones, close-ups of feet and faces. And lots of music where silence is much preferred.
